I was participating a few visualization challenges in 2022 and 2023 organized by Maven Analytics. The concept is pretty simple. You can download a dataset from the challenge’s portal about a specific topic. For example, you are consulting a Pizza Restaurant and you should create a one pages report to show them how they can improve their business. Or to develop a tool for people to choose their ski destination. And you should prepare your one-pager report with any kind of visualization tool. That the best ones are selected. The good thing about it is that you can receive some feedback on your dashboard how clear it is, how you can make it better. On the other hand you can also review the other candidates and their feedback. With all the above you can learn a lot and additional you can share your creation with the world.
