I’m not sure is the new LINEST and LINESTX functions were introduced in 2022 or 2023 but I immediately saw they are very useful ones. Definitely their main purpose is to work on linear regression with that you can predict some future values, but I found another aspect I could use them effectively. The scenario: Power BI by default can provide trend lines on the line charts, but there is a limitation which made an obstacle for me pretty few times. The X axis must be continuous. In the below video I introduce how I set up trend line for more series using LINEST function and another newly introduced feature, the dynamic data label:
